Pitching:

Each coach is in charge of managing their pitchers and their workload in the spirit of player safety.

Gameplay:

-The games will be played according to NFHS Rules. In addition to High school rules please read below:

• Games will be 7 innings
• No new inning after 1 hour and 55 minutes
• Offensive lineups Must be 9 with a DH or 10 with an EH (Must maintain integrity of batting order)
• Defensive substitutions do not need to be connected to the offensive lineup
• Please do NOT run up scores (unwritten baseball rule)
• Courtesy runners for pitchers and catchers must be a sub or the last recorded out (if there are no subs)
• "Soft Roster Moves" are allowed to field a team.
• Take the liberty to field a competitive team, avoid injury, etc but NOT batting a "questionable guest" in the top 5, starting pitcher, etc.
• Rules can be adjusted if BOTH coaches agree prior to the start of the game.
• Players are expected to swing wood or composite bats (Red, White Divisions Only)

     *Blue division can swing wood or drop 3 BBCOR bats. Both teams should swing same type of bat when possible

-Each team should split game balls for each game.

-Scores will be reported to the umpire after the game and confirmed by both coaches. 

      *Umpires will report scores to BATS staff and website will be tracked.

-The games will be played according to NFHS Rules and NCS Rules . (Field size may differ depending on division, but rules will remain the same). In addition,  please read below:

• Games will be 7 innings

• Defensive substitutions do not need to be connected to the offensive lineup

     9u-13u May swing USSSA bats. Both teams should swing the same type of bat if possible

Age Division Breakdown:

09U Will not turn 10 years old prior to May 1st of the current season or Currently in 3rd Grade And will not turn 11 years old prior to August 1st

10U Will not turn 11 years old prior to May 1st of the current season or Currently in 4th Grade And will not turn 12 years old prior to August 1st

11U Will not turn 12 years old prior to May 1st of the current season or Currently in 5th Grade And will not turn 13 years old prior to August 1st

12U Will not turn 13 years old prior to May 1st of the current season or Currently in 6th Grade And will not turn 14 years old prior to August 1st

13U Will not turn 14 years old prior to May 1st of the current season or Currently in 7th Grade And will not turn 15 years old prior to August 1st

14U Will not turn 15 years old prior to May 1st of the current season or Currently in 8th Grade And will not turn 16 years old prior to August 1st

15U Will not turn 16 years old prior to May 1st of the current season or Currently in 9th Grade And will not turn 17 years old prior to August 1st

16U Will not turn 17 years old prior to May 1st of the current season or Currently in 10th Grade And will not turn 18 years old prior to August 1st
